Israel and the Palestinian Nightmare Quotes Showing 1-13 of 13
“There are twenty-two Arab countries, with land thousands of times larger than the entire tiny Jewish state; most of it empty and barren like Israel was before the Jews returned. The so-called Palestinians can settle there, live peacefully and prosper anywhere they choose.”
Ze'Ev Shemer, Israel and the Palestinian Nightmare
“Israel is 640 times smaller than the Arab world. The combined size of the 21 Arab states is 5.3 million square miles! That’s almost double the size of the United States! A large percentage of the Arab lands are uninhabited and their soil is as varied as it was Israel’s prior to Jewish immigration. The Arab-Israeli question is obviously not about the Arab need for more land -they have more than they could possibly ever need- rather it is a religious conflict rooted in Arab hatred, intolerance and contempt, turned into an apparent political struggle where the victimizer is portrayed as the victim.”

“I believe that it is impossible to understand the current situation in the Middle East if one thinks that there is a territorial Arab-Israeli conflict at hand, when in fact, it is clearly a war of religions that unfortunately has no end in sight. To think that this conflict is about land, occupation, racism, apartheid or any other nonsensical media-based and politically created jargon is to play into the hands of those who for so long have taken advantage of the prevalent ignorance of the majority of the world’s public. Make no mistake, this conflict is a religious one, and although Israel is a secular state, it is its ‘Jewish character’ that has the Muslim world up in arms.”

“The main Arab contention has nothing to do with land, one specific border or another, or even the ‘right’ of the conjured Palestinian people to establish an independent country --a twenty-third Arab state. It is the mere existence of Israel that has been and currently is being rejected by the world’s Arab leaders.”
Ze'Ev Shemer, Israel and the Palestinian Nightmare
“Arabs are always innocent in the eyes of those who seek to delegitimize Israel. Terrorists become victims. Victims become immoral, and to the insane. When will every Jew understand that this conflict is not about land, oppression or occupation? That Hitler did not hate the Jews because he was an Aryan and a racist –he allied Germany with Italians and Japanese! How Aryan are they? The Nazis and the Arabs both use excuses to justify their actions, but they also share the same base reason for their hatred of the Jews: they hate us simply because we are Jewish.”

“Israel is being forced to self-destruct by setting indefensible borders with an entity that has sworn to destroy her. No other country on earth has been, or is being, forced to do this. India will not grant political independence to eight million Sikhs, despite the Sikh terror campaign which included the assassination of Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Sri Lanka will not allow an independent state in the north for the Tamils, in spite of Tamil terrorism.
Iran, Iraq, and Turkey will not grant the Kurds autonomy despite the ongoing revolts. The Flemish and the Walloons, ethnically different, are in a cultural struggle in Belgium but no one suggests dividing the country. Look at the Spanish and the Basques, the Rumanians and the Gypsies, etc. Only Israel must divide in two. Only Israel must give its enemies the means to destroy her. There has never been a case of a nation winning a defensive war and then ceding territory to the vanquished. Only Israel is expected to put this absurdity into practice. No nation in the world would ever agree to such a thing. The United States never considered returning California and New Mexico to the Mexicans. England is still laying claim to the Falkland Islands off the coast of Argentina, thousands of miles away from Great Britain.”

“Seventy percent of the population of Jordan is composed of ‘Palestinian’ Arabs. In fact, since 1950, Jordan has had 7 Palestinian Prime Ministers. The Palestinian Arabs are not homeless!”

“Anywhere in Egypt, in any elementary or high school one may visit, in any geography book one may open, the State of Israel still does not appear!”
Ze'Ev Shemer, Israel and the Palestinian Nightmare
“Arab refugees in Israel both in the West Bank and in Gaza began to identify themselves as Palestinians in 1967, two decades after the establishment of modern Israel. The term Palestinian until then, had been associated with both Jews and Arabs that had lived in Israel prior to 1948, and even so, it never had a connotation that symbolized belonging to a different nation, other than Israel.”

“Jerusalem was never a part of Islam or Islam’s dominion. Jerusalem is never mentioned by name in the Qur’an. In contrast, it is mentioned 669 times in the Bible.”

“The ‘atrocities’ that are occurring or are alleged to have occurred in Israel are overshadowed by the myriads of killings of innocents in Syria, Somalia, Rwanda, Sudan, Egypt, Afghanistan and Iraq to name a few. So what makes this particular conflict so outstanding? The most logical explanation is that the Arab-Israeli conflict is not about land, occupation, politics, or a dispute over historical legitimacy and ownership of a tiny corner of real estate -especially one that lays within a sea of sand and has virtually no natural resources. This conflict is rooted in a much more encompassing issue: it is the battle between Islam and Judaism. Judaism and Islam are indeed at odds.”

“It is my contention that Israel’s worst enemies, those who hurt her the most, are by far the ‘unJews’ -these are Jewish men and women known for their inferiority complex who crave for the world’s approval and who express loudly and sometimes violently their contempt against Israel and the Jewish identity. The reasons for this pathological behavior are complex. Their behavior seems to be driven by self-hatred and possibly has more to do with their rejection of God and traditional Judaism than their ‘passionate quest for justice’ and the support of the Palestinian cause. It is important to note that not all Arabs agree with the Muslim contention that Israel has no right to exist. Many Arabs are Christians, and most certainly do not accept the Islamists’ point of view. Many of the people incorrectly branded as Arabs, are actually Druze and Kurds, and most would also disagree with the anti-Israel stand held by the majority of the Muslim factions of the world. Furthermore, some Israeli-Arabs, even Muslims by faith, see themselves as regular Israeli citizens, and do not identify with the Palestinian people or their cause.”

“There are 56 countries have a Muslim majority, dozens that have a Christian majority, and even four nations that have a Hindu majority; there is only one country that has a Jewish majority and although Israel is only the size of New Jersey, it seems that one country is apparently one country too many for the world to bear. The rejection of a Jewish state is at the center of the most intensely monitored conflict in the world. Many believe that this volatility could spark the next world war.”
