Ok, I was NOT expecting to enjoy this book as much as I am. Came in with no expectations and holy shit, I'm genuinely, honestly grinning and smiling and having a blast. Meyer's definitely an acquired taste, but even though her writing style’s far from perfect, she does a phenomenal job with Bella’s inner monologue. She's... relatable, to a degree. And Bella and Edward’s dynamic... it's problematic, but it kinda works
