It's really quite good, but I can't describe it well.

Great exploration of the tension between individual identity and tradition/community-identity/continuity-with-the-past. In fact, that is explored in multiple sub-stories with different characters addressing their relationship to their heritage in completely different ways.

Spoiler: the fascists lose at the end.

It's pretty good.
