Mikael Blomkvist, a journalist from the Millennium, a magazine corporation, received a call from a lawyer named Dirch Frode. He wanted Blomkvist to have an appointment with his client, Henrik Vanger. Vanger, who had disappeared for forty years and returns a withered man and wishes to conference with Blomkvist about being hired to work from him, but Blomkvist doesn't wish to help the Vanger company.
