Had to read each page twice for the first few chapters bcos I could not follow the avalanche of new characters, or characters who had previously been super side players become crucial to plot.

Also - loving Violets character growth, she feels so sure of herself in this book, like she herself feels equal to Xaden and other authority/ power figures. She’s a queen and we love her.
