Read this to the kids (4, 4, 7 & 10) each night from the hallway while they lay in their beds with lights out, imagining--I was concerned that the writing would be too advanced for them, but the language is so beautifully descriptive, they always get something out of it...they must be enjoying it because they ask for it every night!
