Pg. 407, “His older self had abondoned all his younger self’s principles. He cut coupons. He woke up early. He wore slacks. He owned a watch. And he regretted this tattoo. How could two dissimilar people ever in habit the same body? The tattoo had not fundamentally changed, but he had fundamentally changed around it.”

God, these characters are sooo fascinating and i just want to keep reading to find out what will happen. Not very often do I become this involved in fictitious character’s lives, but I just NEED to know how this book ends and what happens with Jack and Elizabeth

I’m only 29 pages in and I can already tell I’m gonna really enjoy this! It’s page turning, raw, and soooo fucking real! Taking place in Chicago and name dropping all these actual places I’ve seen/been to is an added bonus. The framing set up with iur two main characters is intriguing and I’m excited to dive into Chicago in the 90’s. Can’t wait to see what this story has in store.
