She literally didn’t need to kill him. She could’ve sent him to prison instead. I haven’t hated a female main character like this in a very long time. She should’ve killed herself, too. Why does she get to live?

Why does book feel anti-adoption lmao like it’s kinda tasteless the way the third act of this was written

Kaiser is genuinely one of the biggest pieces of shit I’ve ever read about. It’s obvious he’s going to end up with Georgina in the end and that just makes sense: two shitty people together because they’ll always cover each other’s garbage under the guise of “love.” I despise men like him. The fact that I know men like him in real life is so damn disappointing.

I would feel bad for Kaiser being lonely if he wasn’t so fucking mean to people, especially women. It’s more than him “doing his job.” He’s hot tempered and rude, and for what? Thinking he’s smarter than his damn partner just proves that he’s immature.

I don’t like anyone in this book. They’re all angering me. In mystery books, this is a good thing. It means they’re human — flawed and able to change.
