Van Houren's speech was rather thought provoking. Lots of bits are still utterly unrealistic, but now that Augustus is unwell I do feel a little sad and touched by the story

Half way through- it's an easy read but I can't see what the fuss is about, truth be told it's a pretty stupid book (but hey I'm open to change my mind in the second half!).
