I’m a little annoyed. I feel like Gemma isn’t really trying hard enough to plead her case here. Also, the parents completely suck! As if the pipe bursting was her fault??? And how could they expect her to have it fixed with no money. ALSO, Hunter could be having her back a little bit more. This section is quite frustrating tbh.

I’m more confused now than I think I’ve ever been in my entire life. I liked Archer, sad to learn he’s an awful tool. I wonder if sex/a baby is the something they were whispering about in the alcove. Gotta keep going!

Really liking the pace so far. It got right into the hot and heavy, but not too far yet. Interested to find out what Soren’s problem is.

Starting off well. Really getting into the characters. Already intrigued by purple eyes, but confused that Gemma didn’t recognize them since she had just seen the painting.
