I don’t know enough about Canadian law on corporations to know where we stand on the “free market competition” vs “monopolization” debate, but even if government intervention in the market is what allows for the centralization of wealth that breeds monopolies (which I see as naturally occurring and not due to any particular invention), I don’t see a solution without further intervention.

But maybe looking at telecoms and energy and opec, the answer couldn’t be more obvious. But once it happens, I don’t think the market is capable of correcting itself softly
