The scene of Harper attacking Kirby was horrible to listen to. It made me sick.

Okay, now the plot is getting really interesting. I really like the character of Dan, and his interactions with Kirby are basically the highlight.

This book is a lot more graphic than I was expecting.

This book isn't as interesting as I thought it would be, but I think that's due to the terrible male narration of this novel.
