Whoa, “The Emperor’s Soul” was really good. I read it entirely in a morning. Fascinating how it uses a similar sort of magic as Elantris, (since they’re seemingly from the same two Shards), but uses it in a different way, with a totally different narrative. Also really enjoyed the callouts to the civilizations from Elantris.
