Why are we supposed to care about Heath? He has no personality or inner life that we're made aware of. Fargo has made him a cardboard cutout and is coasting on the assumption that we'll fill in the blanks because we know Wuthering Heights.

Having a hard time getting into the writing in this. It's very Colleen Hoover and TJR-esque. Basic and melodramatic. I've enjoyed my fair share of their books but they've also never had the temerity to do a retelling of my favorite novel (Wuthering Heights) set in the world of my favorite sport. I had a bad feeling when I saw the book was dedicated to Tonya Harding.
