What I like about this book is that it has enough history behind it where I’m learning about my culture but also learning about what goes into the movie making process. She does wonders for Black culture, family hurt and communication. This book isn’t solely about romance which you can easily get lost in but it’s about finding yourself in the tragedies of the world. I would say the anticipation was dragged

The book captures you immediately, and it does a great job at setting the tone for what’s to come! It picks up fast but it gets you excited to see what’s going to unfold
