guys i'm no academic but something's seriously wrong with the freuds. it's so bullshit. oh this two year old kid's mom told me that he once pretended to be in pain after seeing a bucket fall into a well, so this is OBVIOUSLY related to his fear of castration and attachment to his penis, like WHAT. the whole thing feels incredibly unscientific.

Interesting choice, TFC. I have one of Sigmund's massive books that I got from a colleague who was retiring and allowed me to have it. It sits on my desk at work and stares at me occasionally...but so far I'm too wary (or scared) to pick it up. This might tip me over the line.

@Spartacus7 I just picked this up on a whim from my mom's shelf. She got it from a friend. It's very new for me, but I am enjoying it. I am currently reading a paper by Sigmund Freud which she references in the book to get the full context before I proceed
