Ok, this translation uses the Roman names of the gods so I need a chart to understand a lot of it. (Jove is Zeus, Venus is Aphrodite, etc)

Also, Homer LOVES himself some details. I really didn’t need 10 pages of “from this place, these are the 5 captains, this is what they are good at, they have this many ships”

Happy that I read Madeline Miller books before this. Story is very interesting BUT CONFUSING!

This is gonna be a “in it for the long haul” type read
