Over the last couple of chapters, things have really brightened up for Stella. Her and Chet have both admitted their love for eachother. Chet tells her that he hasn't 'been able to think straight since I met you'. Stella and Carmina have also been getting along very well and they have both opened up to each other. I am curious to see if both relationships will last or not. Maybe Stella can reconcile with her mother?

As the book is slowly finishing, I am a little bit disappointed with the story line. The author has said little about Danny Balando and has just talked about Stella, Chet and Carmina. When I purchased this book, I thought it would be a thriller about Stella on the run from Danny Balando. However, it is quite the opposite. Also, Reed hasn't been mentioned for quite a while. I wonder what has happened to him....

So far, this book i quite good. I am very intrigued at how Stella and Carmina have become quite close which is a great thing because Stella really needs a figure of authority in her life and someone to guide her. A beautiful example of this is on page 248 where Carmina was in hospital. As Stella throws her arms around her, Carmina says 'Now there's a face I've missed'. I can't wait to see how close they become.

This book has really intrigued me and I am loving every bit of it! Stella is slowly adjusting to her new lifestyle and she has made firends with Chet. I am curious to see how long Stella and Chets friendshipn will last as they have conflicitng personalities.

So far I am really enjoying this book! It is quite unlike anything I have previously read. I am excited to see where Stella ends up.
