So far my favorite book this year is actually The Maze Runner because so far it's very suspenseful and keeps me entertained. Most of the books I've read this year didn't have good endings but this book seems like it will have a good ending. I want to find out how their going to find out how to solve the maze. Thomas is my favorite character because he leads the group and stays calm whenever something bad happens.

This book compares to To Kill a Mockingbird because Atticus has to step up and be the bigger man than everyone else just like Thomas from The Maze Runner. Most other characters don't like Atticus because he defended a black man just like everyone started to turn against Thomas once things started going bad. In both books bad things happen and everyone just uses a scapegoat to solve their problems.
