Ready Player One is a rags to riches story. The protagonist, Wade, starts off as a dirt-poor kid living in the stacks of 2044. After Wade goes on his journey through the OASIS, however, Wade finds Halliday's Easter egg and becomes a multibillionaire. As you can see, because Wade went from dirt-poor to filthy rich, my story is a rags to riches story.
