I'm not a big fan of romance–unless it's a fantasy book. Romantasy is my religion–but I really enjoyed this novel. I felt connected with it because Isabella's feelings and thoughts are quite similar to my own. She was broken and it was beautiful to see how much she has healed and grown. Of course Kai was a nice surprise–a man who translates English novels to Latin for a hobby was not what I expected and I love it.
