Oh my, I can't believe I almost DNFed this beauty. One of the best romances with an Army veteran I've ever read.

Begins part 2. I thought I'd have the "real" story now but I have the feeling I'm going to get another 30% of a character's diary. I'm growing impatient here :/ . This feels more a narrative than a romance.

I hope Derrick decides to leave Jamie for good. Derrick deserves someone entirely for himself.

And Jamie needs to find his match. When will he appear?

Not what I expected. This feels more like narrative than romance, at least the writing style.

The scene with the girl, having a taste of her nectar? Really? Are M/F books like this? I don't remember but this expression made me look at the ceiling for a while. Sometimes sentences here are too flowery for my taste.

Still, the other MC has not appeared yet, and so far, I'm curious about what's going to happen.
