Odysseus and the sons of Atreus will fall over laughing with glee when they hear of the death of Ajax.

So typical!

τάχος γὰρ ἔργου καὶ ποδῶν ἅμ᾽ ἕψεται,

‘Speed of deed and feet will go together.’ Hendiadys is such and amusing figure of speech. The chorus mean they’ll go in a hurry.
