No time like the present to clean up abandoned reads of 2024. At least the leads have finally (re)met. Do I know way too much about their fraught relationships with their parents now? Also yes

Ok, one thing I don’t like about this series is all the family drama that substitutes for rising action. I guess in ACOTAR it’s all the « world-building » and fairy politics. Both are annoying. Who gets turned on by hearing about Brooklyn getting fired, her mom stealing her ex-husband, or cancer Vann’s daddy issues?

Yep. We’re going through the series. Unfortunately we’re still at the opening stages where I’ve got to here about dude’s mama drama and girl’s unemployment problems as foreplay 😒
