A symphonic composer and his poor doting lady (not his wife! How plebeian). It's an impactful short story in how it fluidly moves between both their perspectives. I really didn't like the character, that doesn't matter especially I suppose but I'm not sure what this should really tell me other than: the guy had it all wrong. Especially given how Adeline received his final piece.
