This book relates to the book A Million Little Pieces because the narrators in both stories were drug addicts. Soon or later, they both seek help and try to find healing despite how painful leaving their drug-enhanced lives may be. They wish to relapse at time, but know what they are doing is wrong. Drugs a have ruined their lives. They are also both the stories of a segment of the authors own life.

If I could interview someone from the story I would interview the narrator. I would ask her is she is happy and content with herself. Though she promises she is not a "doper," it seems she's only happy when she's high. I think her answer would be very hesitant because it seems like something she does not think about; she acts on impulse without considering her own wellbeing and happiness.

The narrator of the story is anonymous. However, we do see a lot of growth in her character. She is a 15 year old girl who recently became addicted to drugs. Early in the story, she runs away from her home, but now she has returned home and decides to stop using. This shows growth because in the beginning of the book, she talked about how glorious drugs are and now she is ready to stop.

I chose to reread this book because I found it very interesting the first time I read it and thought that reading it again would help me understand it better. This shows I am a stronger reader because I now know more of the words I didn't know last time and can read it more fluidly. It has much more advanced vocabulary than previous books I've read.

The author originally wrote this book as a diary. She wanted to keep track of her stories of experiences. Perhaps this is because she was an addict and lacked a good memory from being under the influences of drugs. She used this notebook to vent and let out all the troubling events and feelings that they has caused her.

Because the story is written an anonymous author, and it it is written in first person and is a true story, the main character is anonymous. We do know that they are female. The story is about her struggle with drugs,-using and pushing- how she ran away from her family, and her stay in a mental institution, and finally how she sobers up.
