I saw that you were reading this, and my library had it online, so I read it. Starts a bit slowly (too much about Shepard's childhood, IMHO) but gets good - wait until you read about Follies in Concert!

How do you get through these books so fast? I just got it for Christmas and it just came out a couple of months ago. I'm loving it. Such a unique perspective from a man with an unusual career. I like these "journal" books that talk candidly about the behind-the-scenes... makes me feel like I'm there.
