So far the book of Exodus is a lot less fucked up than genesis. This book shows more love for the people but he seems to be testing them/not making their lives easy.

The chronicles are fairly pointless chapters in the sense that you don’t get any new information from them really but it is helpful if you are tracking lineages throughout the Bible. 2nd kings really suprised me in the things that were covered and left me with a lot of food for thought.
