This is the end of Book Two of The Stand, and society is slowly but surely rebuilding, though humanity has kept both its flaws and virtues. Off to Book Three.

Well, this is a wrap of Book 1: Captain Trips. It's Fourth of July for Larry, Frannie, Stu and others, but there aren't any family reunions and fireworks displays this year.

Let's give this beast another chance, and hopefully it won't need another.
