I'm loving the story so far (already a fan of the show, so that's a given) but finding the actual narrative to be rather weak. There are clumsily written lines and editorial gaffs, however I've been told Martin's writing strengthens over the course of the series, though, and with a story so engrossing, I'm willing to give it a pass.
