Wow. The author is so well-read. As a history student and modern history enthusiast, the fact she can go from debates on Marxism to referencing Nazi book burnings is so amazing, considering this book does not have the label "historical" at all. Despite this not being a historical fiction or anything like that, she obviously did her research to even make subtle mentions of important topics. I adore her work.
