Idk with this one, the writing feels choppy and I think it's too convenient they did not know each other until like a month ago and now all six of them experience the same thing (that nobody conveniently wants to inform them about as if it won't happen if they ignore it, which does not add to the mystery but just annoys me). The flow is off. Will give it some more pages but I think this will end up being a DNF for me

Sounds interesting. Alot of convenient things in fiction gets ridiculous at times. I would dnf dont want to take a bad book into the new year im not reading anything atm because i dont want to carry over books i like to start fresh in the new year.

The premise definitely sounds interesting! I just dislike when authors use too many coincidences to make their plot work, it feels like they take a shortcut. I will read some more today, then make a decision :-) Do you know what you will start reading in 2025 yet?
I want to read a book i know i will love to start year off good so was gonna read poirots christmas and also want to read some of the taltos series by steven brust. But i have so many books i want to read its hard to decide. Oh and theres the one king arthur legend type book called Mordred i want to read soon too i love arthurian legend
