Proctor There is the "Enterprise SOA" and the "lower case soa". What is interesting about SOA to me is not so much the Enterprise aspect, but SOA in the sense of the small services which do their job well and can be deployed irrespective of each other, and then wired up together. Think unix utils, functional programming functions, or similar to what Fred George was talking about at SCNA.


Colin Jones Sure, I like the modularity apects, unix-/fp-style, and I totally buy into Fred George's whole thing. Lots of interesting ideas, but the language is an impediment (for me).
