i fear it’s getting romantical

wow they rlly love describing how young julia is and it’s getting weird!!! it makes sense in this context and she’s not a minor but im still uneasy. and im finding it hard to empathise w winston ab his hatred for his wife. i have no idea where the story is going but its getting gooood

if this somehow turns into a romance book i’m gonna scream

i’m rlly enjoying this book so far. i wish i didn’t start this as an audiobook cz i can’t remember some of the initial details :/

also i think im traumatised from the lc comparitive essay, but i can’t help but compare aspects of this to the handmaids tale. especially on the topics of love and relationships. also interesting to see a completely opposite approaches to religion and indoctrination!
