So far, I'm loving the world building and the magic system. The writing is descriptive and fluid, making it easy to visualize what's going on. My one critique is that almost all of that exposition is taking place through dialogue and, while it does make sense for this character to be asking about her background, it's all being TOLD to her. I would have loved for her to SENSE more of it as her abilities bloomed.
