Poor Jane! Her parents died and now she has to live with her cruel aunt who treats her terribly. Jane has won my respect. She doesn't tolerate what others do to her and actually talks back to defend herself. She's not afraid to express how she's feeling, which separates her from the other women in her society. She's going to go to school and I can't wait until she leaves her aunt's manor and meets Mr. Rochester.
