FINALLY clara gets to do something ALL ON HER OWN

the plot of this one is genuinely just We Need to Go to A to Get B to Do C to do D in order to get E so we can F. one convoluted fetch quest after another. I like how the characters are written but this is getting a bit silly, especially when the prince just goes along with everything after he has belittled clara for a bit AGAIN AND AGAIN

he said he'd burn worlds for her and instead he's chaperoning her to every danger imaginable

clara just INSISTS on jumping head first from the frying pan into the fire, like she is on a 200-step plan to help her depressed brother that doesn't make a lick of sense and the prince has to watch helplessly as she does it. how he hasn't had an aneurysm yet is purely because of his elf blood.
