I guess it's a gentle reminder that in the not terribly distant future I'll be holding my own while marginally shorter, no less real book. and yeah that's cool.

basically I'm super excited to be holding a copy of her first novel (with her sweet message in her absolutely beautiful handwriting on the first page) in my hands.

Here's the thing - Heather, the author of this book, is one of my favorite internet friends. I know her writing is wicked from where we met on fanfiction and it's kinda cool to think we're now - as I'm cutely calling us - "author friends" and it's really great.
