This is one of the two Richard Stark novels that Hollywood made three movies from. The other novel in the 28 books about Parker, was the very first one; The Hunter. Two movies were made based on that novel, Point Blank with Lee Marvin and Pay Back with Mel Gibson(Gibson's version was the best and as I'm reading all of the novels, Mel Gibson is the way I see Parker). Now I know why they made the movies from these two.

This book returns us to the successful Parker of the earlier novels. In it he goes on a spree to accumulate funds to get back at partners who double crossed him. It is relentless - I love it and can't put it down! This is the Parker I first came to know and love back in the late 90s!
