I think the theme of this book is to make sure that technology and the people in power's moral compass evolve and grow at the same time. To explain, Jurassic Park explores the scenarios when technology advances too rapidly for the people controlling it to make moral decision. They only saw the money, and so the tragic events of the book occur.

I chose this book because of its popularity and due to watching the movie shortly before starting this book. I'm mostly compelled by the fact that the school forced me to read this as a summer reading book and because of that I planned on re-reading it to pick out details that I didn't notice on my first reading. In terms of advanced reading, I'm pretty sure this is high school level book, so I'm good in that regard.

Neither, as almost all the characters are either going to die, almost die, or go through some sort of hell at some point in the book. All in all, no thanks, I would not want to be any character(new or existing) in this book.

I can tell the climax is nearing really easily now thanks to all the things going wrong with the systems that run the Jurassic Park. Not only that, but with the increased tension between the staff and the archeologists, there is no way something wrong isn't going to happen.

At this point in the book our main protagonist is realizing the unethical and immoral standards that the Jurassic Park facility goes by. Along with unforgiving testing, they are meddling with things far beyond there knowledge and something going wrong is almost garrunteed at this point, especially with all the foreshadowing that's going on.

The purpose of this book is to identify and exaggerate the staggering increase of technology the world is becoming acquainted with. With new frontiers in science and engineering constantly being pushed, ethical and moral values are also being challenged. This book outlines the absolute worse case scenario. In terms of audience, anyone above the age of 12.

I really relate to Hammond, the skeptical but optimistic scientist who was just invited to get a private look at jurassic park a few weeks before opening to the public. He is an archeologist and was working on a small project with his colleges before he was invited. He seems like the type of guy that would triple-check discoveries before publishing them quickly just for profit.
