Thoughts after reading chapter 1:
- As I watched the show first, it’s so interesting to see the differences between this and the show.
- Nanase’s personality is a lot more realistic here. In the show she’s like a rubber ball that bounces off any rejection and continues to happily persevere.
- I agree with Tendo that becoming a nurse to see your crush is a terrible motivation for an honourable profession.

Thoughts after reading chapter 5:
- The exploration of the hardships of being a nurse and dealing with the death of a patient was great. Nanase’s depressive spiral showed a lot of depth of character.
- That kiss came out of nowhere. Tendo totally likes her! I quite like that he’s not letting that get in the way of his training with her though.
- It was the same line in the show that the kiss was her treatment!

- That patient is a total creep and so blatant with the sexual harassment. I’m surprised no one has decked him one!
- I like that we see Tendo actually training Nanase here. He did say he would train her in the show but it wasn’t as clear.
- Tendo to Nanase: “You’re more than a nurse. You’re a woman. Even I try to be mindful of that.” THAT IS SO CUTE😭

- ALERT! We have a smiling Tendo! This is like some AU of the show, I swear it’s so different. It took him 8 episodes in the show!
- I spoke too soon, Nishi has now appeared and with Sakai’s popularity for being a good nurse.
- Tendo in the show deserved his “Devil” nickname, but Tendo here doesn’t deserve to be called “Dark Lord”. He’s quite nice here in comparison.

Thoughts after reading chapter 2:
- I LOVE the show, but oh my gosh I love this too! The characters make so much more sense here.
- Nanase is a lot less desperate and way more self-assured.
- Tendo isn’t so much of a tsundere and is more clearly into Nanase from the get go. It took 7 episodes of the show for Tendo to stop holding back on his true feelings for Nanase!
- Strangely, there is no Nishi or Sakai yet.
