An amazing testament to life in the 14th century.
Some stories are great and some less so, but they all paint their part of the picture.
There's no need to finish it all in one go - it is after all short stories, so let it rest and pick it up again when you feel like it.
The new Danish translation is very accessible and easy to enjoy. The translator apparently used at least twice as many full-stops as Boccacio.
