James Rollins conjugates two main story threads separately and makes them both interesting to follow, my only critic is that the author sometimes spends a lot if word, phrases and paragraphs just to describe quite less tua useful personal information about the characters: Grayson Pierce is overdescribed as well as Painter Crow, Monk, Kat, and so on. Bur in the end it is not sufficient to break the interest in threads
