She keeps assuming we can isolate the causally relevant factors and purports to explain causality by this; but it is circular reasoning. You can pick many co-occurences that appear as good as causal even if you fix everything else in place.

Causality seems to be related to partitioning the target field of probability to its subsets. Kind of like if we took a normal curve and turned the space into a complex manifold and placed the original curve again into the complex space defined by it as is and compared it with the curve as twisted by it ie, dot product of the co-ordinates at that point
