I’m really trying to love this series. The premise is good but the characters are just plain dumb. All the characters continually make the same mistakes over and over and go right back to doing it again. I’m frustrated with how many times they the two main characters keep going back to the same controlling, abusive men and just shrug it off; it sends a harmful message to young girls who identify with them.
