the nuanced and complex discussion of sexual assault and grooming throughout this book is incredibly well done (imo)

has exceeded my expectations SO much so far. the commentary on society and life and true crime is amazing, the writing feels so authentic and beautiful, and i have related to parts of the narrator’s experience and pov in ways i have never found in books before — i didn’t know much going into this book bc my brother got it for me but im glad he did!
