When I was 6 my teacher took me out in the hallway to tell me that I couldn't say that Santa Claus wasn't real to the other children. I wish I could remember the details because the event seems significant in my spiritual development.

Written by an ex-member of Belle & Sebastian so it is a bit twee. But I do rather like B&S, at least their older stuff. Because I've spent my life on the outside of things, the reclusive weirdness of the main character probably isn't as foreign to me as it would be for a more normal and socialized person.
