This was a rough one. I was so close to DNF’ing this story, the main character (Dr. Tokai) was just… ugh. Having multiple affairs with married women?? I was glad the ending was better, the man deserved it even though the narrator tried to make it seem like it wasn’t what the doctor deserved.
