My favorite character is Cassia. As I read more in the book, she turned more rebellious. She had been hiding things from the Society. My least favorite characters are the Officials because they have taken away the artifacts of many people.

At this point, the main character is conflicted with her feelings. Although she is matched with Xander, she is starting to have feeling for her friend Ky. They are also having a difficult time at the moment because the Government decided that it was unfair that only certain people had artifacts. Those who are working for the Government have gone around and taken all the artifacts.

Cassia and Xander are matched. They have been friends for a long time and were surprised when they were Matched. For example, " You have nothing to worry about. Xander is your Match." This shows that they were matched during their banquet.

My favorite part of the book so far is when they they received their match. I think it was strange that the society chose their matches based on what they do and what they are like. What I don't like about the society is that they all die at the age of 80. I think it's strange that they can only live up until a certain age.
