MELANIE is 26% done

The FMC has me FUMING. She’s prideful and doesn’t want anyone to know her life is not “perfect”, she rather be miserable than single/alone and her 10+ y/o friends can’t tell her the truth (which she KNOWS is the truth) without fear of her cutting them out of her life.
Plus, I have not felt a single ounce of chemistry bt the MCs which makes the drunken mistake about to happen not enjoyable at all.

This is not going well.
The writing is green with a lot of over-explaining, and telling instead of showing. But I expected that and it’s not bad enough to not continue the story.
What is killing me is the FMC. I CANNOT stand her. She has all the icks.
